Kenny Conley, Next Generation Pastor
Kenny oversees all student and children’s ministries. A children’s pastor of over 11 years, Kenny comes most recently from a large multi-site church in North Forth Worth, Texas. Although energized by communicating to both large and small groups of kids, Kenny’s passion lies in developing strategy and processes to reach kids for Christ and see them grow in faith. Most importantly, Kenny works to equip and resource parents to be the key spiritual influence in their child’s life.

Kenny grew up in the church (and surprisingly carries little baggage) and felt directed toward ministry at the age of 14. Kenny earned a degree in Christian Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. When not working or thinking about work, Kenny enjoys hanging out with his wife, Sara and little boy, Titus. He also enjoys reading, skiing traveling and just about anything involving technology.

Kat Barrilleaux, Production Director
Kat was born into a family of artists and it didn’t take very long for her to find her place. Since the age of 5, Kat knew she wanted to be involved in the theatrical arts and actively pursued that goal throughout her elementary and high school years.  Throughout college she studied Communications, Theatre Directing, Theater Make up, Set Design and Costuming.

With the birth of her son, Kat switched majors to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and after years of teaching in the public school systems, she joined our staff as the interim Elementary Director.  Knowing that theater and artist creation were more her passion, she has recently switched roles to become the Production Director for Kid’s Quest.

As the Kid’s Quest Production Director, Kat is extremely excited to help educate and inspire children to learn more of the teachings of Jesus Christ through fun and entertaining theatrical, artistic, and musical adaptations to true biblical stories.

Sara Echelberger, Early Childhood Director
Sarah directs Gateway’s early childhood ministry programs. She holds a psychology degree from the University of Texas and a Master’s in education from Concordia University, and taught pre-kindergarten prior to working part-time at Gateway and being a full-time mom! Sarah enjoys teaching aerobics and traveling. Sarah and her husband, Nate, who is active in several other areas at Gateway, have two sons and two dachshunds.
