GET YOUR CRAZY SOCKS ON!!!
It’s that time of year! Yes, the most wonderful time of year. Look out, because Kids Quest is celebrating Christmas in the most peculiar way this year! We’re going CRAZY!
Sunday, November 22nd begins the Crazy Christmas Countdown. It’s our fun and wacky way of counting down the weekend to every kid’s favorite holiday!
This year’s theme is SOCKS! You read that right! SOCKS! Each weekend, dress your kids in their craziest socks! Why? Because it’s fun. In fact, why don’t you wear crazy socks to. Trust us, it’s really fun!
We’ll be looking out for the kids with the CRAZIEST socks (and parents for that matter too), so don’t forget. You’ve got five weekends to show how crazy you can be.
Each week we have a special “sock” theme. Check out our CRAZY lineup:
- November 22nd: O’ Holy SOCKS
- November 29th: Jingle Bell SOCKS
- December 6th: Deck the SOCKS
- December 13th: We Three SOCKS
- December 20th: SOCK’N around the Christmas Tree
Who can participate?
Everyone! If he/she/you wear socks, you can participate, although the most fun (games and contests) is happening with 2 year old kids through 5th grade!
What’s the point?
This is the MOST important part of all! Sure it’s crazy and fun to get excited about Christmas, but there are kids in our community in need and Christmas this year may not be fun like it is for most. In the area where your kids check in, we have the Kids Quest Christmas tree decorated with socks (go figure). Families are encouraged to pick one or several socks from the tree. Each sock represents a gift your child or family can lovingly purchase, and provide to a local child who certainly needs a little joy this Christmas.
UPDATE: Please don’t wrap the presents. We have teams that will organize the gifts to give to the families to make sure there is an equal distribution. Please place the gifts in a gift bag (no tissue) and leave under/around the Christmas tree in the KQ Check-in area.
