Welcome to the Kids Quest blog! This is the first of many posts to come. I figured I’d start off this blog explaining why we started a blog. Actually, there are many reasons.
- It can be an active soruce for information. My intention is that the Kids Quest staff will actively update the blog with information that parents need. Those who serioulsy want to be connected can subscribe to the blog and recieve every post in their email or feed reader.
- It can be a passive source for information. The nice thing about a blog is that you don’t “have” to subscribe. You can just visit it whenever you want. If that’s the way you roll, then you come whenever you’re looking for the answer to your question… no pressure!
- My emails are WAY too long! People have been telling me for year that I’m way too wordy. I just like being thorough. I’ve had so much information to say in my recent emails, they’ve been HUGE! So, I figured I could shorten my emails substantially by just writing snippets of information in my emails and link back to the blog for all the details. If it’s something you want to know, then you can read all about it on the blog. If you don’t care about how many diapers we change in Kids Quest in the average week, then don’t link to that page on the blog.
- Information sticks around and is easy to find. Rather than dig through your email for the message we sent you two months ago, you can just click through past blog posts oreven just use the search box at the top right of this page… it’s pretty good!
- Last of all. I just love blogs.
So, there you have it. We will be posting on the blog multiple times a week. Through the rest of this summer, we’ll be updating this blog and sending out a weekly email. However, once the summer is over, we’ll only send out an email once a month (except for special circumstances) but we’ll probably blog even more regularaly.
Feel free to interact with the blog. You can post a coment on every post… and we love coments! So if you have questions, coments or suggestions, don’t be shy. Not only do we love it, but you may be asking what others are thinking… so it helps everyone.
Well, I think that’s it. Please let us know if there is any way we can better serve the parents of Kids Quest!
