We have a very special treat for your kids! Actually, most of the men would consider this a huge treat as well. It’s special enough I felt obligated to write the title of this post in all caps!
As you probably know we’ve got a lot of people coming around on the weekends lately. In order to handle the bigger crowds the staff and many of our leaders have been parking at an off site parking lot about a mile from the church and riding the shuttle bus to the church. It hasn’t been an inconvenience at all and most people haven’t had to wait very long for a shuttle bus but for a few minutes. However, we want even more people to park in the off site lot. Too often people just turn around and go home when they can’t find a parking space on our property. So, we’ve come up with an incentive that will make just about ever kid BEG THEIR PARENTS to park in the off site lot. Why? Because of the new shuttle service we’re using.
That’s right. One of our shuttles will be one of the Austin Ducks. This amphibious cargo carrier will now transport you and your eager kids to Gateway Church. How cool is that? I told you that you didn’t want to miss this!
So, the Austin Duck will be transporting people back and forth to Gateway from our off site parking lot from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM every Sunday. We have another shuttle (not a duck) that will operate from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Enjoy the Austin Duck. Unfortunatley there are no major bodies of water between the parking lot and Gateway Church for this amphibious shuttle to float across. In case of a flood, you will be safe!
