Hey parents! Here is a great resource for you and your kids. Phil Vischer, the creator of VeggieTales (Bob the tomato and Larry the cucumber), has created a great thing for your kids. It’s called Jelly Telly, an online Christian television network for kids. Although it is more appropriate for younger elementary aged children, both younger and older kids will enjoy various aspects of the programming.
Jelly Telly provides about 20 minutes of new content every day. Programming consists of many different clips, some teaching Bible lessons, some showing how kids are making good choices and some that just teach about our faith and the world around us. Oh, and it’s filled with wacky and random stuff too. Nothing stuffy about this resources, except for the puppets.
To check it out, go to the web site and sign up for a free one month subscription. If you like it, you can pay for a monthly subscription which costs less than just one Starbucks coffee. It’s a great deal and could be a great tool to help your kids grow spiritually.
