This Sunday is the big day. This Sunday our kindergartners will bump up to 1st grade, our 5th graders will bump up to middle school and our elementary kids will all promote up a grade. It’s an exciting time.
What does this mean for you?
Parents of kids previously in kindergarten: No more KQ Backyard for you (unless you have other young chilcren). Now you’ll take your 1st grader upstairs to Kids Quest A. Durring the 9:30 and 11:00 service we have a manned check-in computer upstairs outside of Kids Quest A.
Parents of kids previously in 3rd grade: Your kids are making a switch. Instead of checking them into Kids Quest A, you will now check them into Kids Quest B.
Parents of kids previously in 5th grade : Your kids will bump up to the Uprising. The Uprising is a fun and relational service for midle School kids. It’s right next door to Kids Quest B. Your child is interested,
All Elementary: We may experience a little hold up at check in. Many kids have already bumpled themselves up a grade (even though our goal was to wait until this weekend. So, this Sunday all kindergarte thourgh 5th grade will promote. This is an automatic process for all kids. This weekend all kids will be promoted by one grade. Those who promoted their kids early will be promoted again. So, you may have to tell the check-in attendat to lower the grade of your child. It’s a very quick fix, but I wanted you to be aware of what was happening.
