Swine Flu

We’ve had some parents ask questions about children’s services in response to the swine flu.

At this point we will be offering all of our weekend programs. During the week and between services, toys and facilities are cleaned to prevent the spread of illness. Our well-child policy states that we do not allow children to particiapte in our programs if they have displayed any symptoms of illness within the last 24 hours. In light of the swine flu, we do ask that if your child is sick, please don’t bring them to Kids Quest.

We look forward to having you with us this weekend.

Easter!

Easter is upon us. Tomorrow is Good Friday and Gateway celebrates Easter with five services at the North Campus.

Just to make sure everyone is on the same page, we will offer Kids Programs for all kids, birth through 5th grade for all five services. We expect some services to be less attended, so depending on what service you come to, your child may be in a different room than normal, but we have great things planned for all of the kids.

Important note:
Every Easter, we have a lot of guests. Since it’s Easter, most of these guest plan to come on Sunday morning. That means our 9:00 and 10:45 service will be the most full. AS a church, we want to make as much room as possible for our Easter guests. So, if you’re reading this post, would you please consider coming to one of our other services? We’ll have the same exact program at our 5:00 and 6:30 services on Saturday and at our 12:30 service on Sunday.

As a special thank you, we’re offering free children’s and family portraits following these three services. That means if you attend the 5:00 or 6:30 service on Saturday or the 12:30 service on Sunday, you can get a free Easter family portrait. Within a week or two after Easter, you’ll be able to download full resolution pictures from the web or even order pictures to be printed. It’s a simple way we can say thank you for making room for our Easter guests. For more information about the Easter portraits, click here.
