Kids Quest Online

Crazy Christmas Countdown has been going on for 3 weeks already and so far families have already taken over 200 ornaments from the Kids Quest Christmas tree. That’s incredible. That’s means gifts for hundreds of families in need this Christmas.

Here are a few important reminders.

• Although Crazy Christmas Countdown has two more weeks, it would be best to bring gifts by this Sunday, December 13th. Although we’ll still be able to distribute gifts brought in after this Sunday, the Christmas Dinner we’re hosting to support Gateway’s food pantry/refugee families is next week. So if you have an ornament, please bring your gifts in this weekend!
• In order to keep consitency for gifts, please don’t exceed $30.
• Please bring your gift back to the Kids Quest lobby inside an open gift bag.

Did you forget to grab an ornament and you still want to participate? You can. Just follow the instructions above and purchase the items below for your family’s gift bag!

Gift for a family in need:

• Lotion
• 2 adult glove and scarf sets – knit
• Umbrella
• Children’s books & puzzles
• Educational games and cards
• Stickers & Gum

The dates are set for next summer’s Kids Camp and we’re kicking off the Christmas shopping season with special Black Friday sale. If you register your 3rd-5th grader for camp before the end of the year (December 31st) you can save $25!

It’s going to be an amazing camp, your child will not want to miss this. As time gets closer, we’ll have more details… but don’t miss this special price!

Crazy socks that is!

This week the Crazy Christmas Countdown begins. Are you ready? Come ready to participate… wear the craziest socks you own. If they look like Christmas, even better!

Yes, it’s that time again. You get an extra hour of sleep this Saturday night. How great is that? Don’t forget to turn your clock back an hour, otherwise you’ll be really early at church on Sunday!

Just a reminder. Last week we told you about the Great Gateway Gathering. Click here if you missed it!

On Sunday we distributed over 2000 gathering cards to kids and their families. So, tonight is your opportunity to go out and give these cards to a few of your neighbors. It’s better to give it to them in person, but if they’re not home, you can put it on their door. Then tomorrow when you’re out doing your trick or treat thing, swing buy the neighbors you gave cards to and pick up their food donations. It’s a great way to gather food for our community food pantry, especially in this season of great need. On Sunday, bring the food you’ve collected to the Kids Quest lobby.

What if I’m just now hearing about this?

That’s fine, you can still participate in one or more ways!

1. Feel free to download our Gathering flyer here (it’s a big file). You can pass these around today or tomorrow morning so you can pick up food tomorrow night.
2. Don’t worry about the flyer. Go knock on some doors of neighbors you know (or maybe some you don’t) and tell them about how they can help those in need this fall.
3. At the very least, go through your pantry and bring some of your food to give away. You can drop off all the donations in the Kids Quest lobby this Sunday.
